Short answers first. Each topic links to the page with the full answer.
Is there a minimum order?
No. There is no minimum order quantity: order 1 piece or 10,000. Every order starts with a free digital design and dieline, then a digital proof, so you check your design before we print the batch.
How fast is production?
Production is fast once you approve your proof, then it ships by standard ground delivery. Flat-rate US shipping by order value: $9.99 for orders under $100, $19.99 for $100 to $299.99 and $29.99 for $300 and up.
What does the free digital design include?
Send your logo and the item you need and we set your design on the dieline and send back a digital design of your packaging. There is no charge and no obligation.
Can you beat my current supplier?
Send us your current quote or invoice for the same item and quantity and we come back with a lower price.
Do I see my design before you print my order?
Yes. You get a free digital design and then a digital proof on the real dieline. Nothing prints until you approve the proof and confirm your order.
Which board or coating do I need?
Tell us what you serve (hot, greasy, wet or frozen) and we recommend the board and coating, and send the material specifications with your quote.
Do you ship outside the US?
This brand serves US businesses only.
How do I pay?
You pay the invoice after you approve your proof, by card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover), PayPal, Stripe or bank wire transfer. No card is needed to place an order.
Is the listed price final?
The listed price is the starting price for exactly the item listed (size, material, print and quantity). Any change to the specification, a custom size, inside printing, more than one design or a special finish is priced in your custom quote and confirmed with you before production. US shipping is a flat rate by order value ($9.99 for orders under $100, $19.99 for $100 to $299.99 and $29.99 for $300 and up), shown in your cart, and you see the full invoice before you pay.

How much does custom food packaging cost?
Custom food packaging from Bitefold costs $1.63 to $18.99 per printed piece: for example one greaseproof paper (12x12 in sheet) is $1.63 and one pizza box (12x12x2 in) is $18.99. Every item shows one price, the price of one piece, and you order any quantity at that price per piece; other sizes, materials and larger runs are quoted.
Full answerWhat sizes does custom food packaging come in?
Bitefold lists 40 standard sizes across 40 food packaging items, from a 7 × 2.5 × 1.5 in hot dog & food tray to a 8 × 8 × 5 in bakery box, plus cups by fluid ounce. Each size is in inches and millimetres with what it holds; custom sizes come with a free dieline.
Full answerHow long does custom food packaging take?
Production starts after you approve your digital proof and is fast; delivery is fast too. We do not promise a fixed day count: tell us your deadline with your quote and we confirm whether we can meet it. US shipping is a flat rate by order value, added to your invoice on top of the product price.
Full answerIs there a minimum order for custom food packaging?
No. Bitefold has no minimum order quantity: order 1 printed piece or 10,000. One piece of any of our 40 items is listed at $1.63 to $18.99, that single-piece price is the one price each item shows, any quantity is ordered at it, and every order, whatever the quantity, comes with a free digital design and dieline.
Full answerHow do I order custom food packaging?
Ordering custom food packaging from Bitefold takes five steps: choose the item, pick the size and quantity, send your artwork or let us set your logo on the dieline at no charge, approve the digital proof, then confirm and pay by invoice. Priced items go straight into the cart with no card; everything else starts with the quote form.

How do I know what size cake box I need?
Measure the finished cake at its widest point, including frosting. Use a board about 2 inches wider, a box the same size as the board, and a box about 2 inches taller than the cake. An 8-inch cake 4 inches tall fits a 10 x 10 x 6 inch box.
Full answerShould the cake box be the same size as the cake board?
Yes, or very close. Wilton recommends a cake box the same size as the cake board, so the board cannot slide. If the box is slightly larger, a non-skid mat under the board stops the cake moving.
Full answerDo you need a sleeve on a double-wall cup?
Usually not. The outer wall and the air gap do the job a sleeve does. Some cafés still add a printed sleeve for a promotion, but it is not needed for comfort.
Full answerWhy do coffee sleeves have bumps or ridges?
The texture leaves small air pockets between the sleeve and the cup, and air conducts heat poorly. The original 1995 sleeve patent describes "nubbins and depressions" that reduce contact with the cup for exactly this reason.
Full answerHow many mL is a 12 oz coffee cup?
About 355 mL. One US fluid ounce is 29.57 mL, so 12 fluid ounces is about 354.8 mL. The cup holds that much when filled to the brim.
Full answerDo 12 oz and 16 oz cups use the same lid?
Often, yes. In many cup lines the 12, 16 and 20 oz hot cups share a 90 mm rim and one lid. Always check the rim diameter on the spec sheet, because lines differ.
Full answerWhat size box does a 12-inch pizza go in?
Most pizzerias use a 12 x 12 inch box about 2 inches tall. If your baked 12-inch pizza measures wider than 12 inches across the crust, or has a tall rim, use a 13 or 14 inch box instead.
Full answerIs a 16-inch pizza twice as big as a 12-inch pizza?
Close to it. A 16-inch pizza has about 201 square inches of surface and a 12-inch pizza about 113, so the 16-inch has roughly 1.8 times as much pizza.
Full answerWhat size box do I need for a 9-inch pie?
A 10 x 10 inch box about 2.5 inches tall fits most 9-inch pies in a standard dish. Measure your own pie with its dish and crust, and go taller for deep-dish, crumble or meringue pies.
Full answerIs a 9-inch pie measured across the top or the bottom?
Usually across the inside of the dish at the top. King Arthur Baking describes its 9-inch pan as 9 inches wide on the inside. The rim sits outside that, so the box must be wider than the pie's nominal size.
